What we do & why it matters
Graphic Design & Art
Graphic design is the art of using visual elements to convey a message or communicate information. Graphic designers, also known as graphic artists or communication designers, combine art and technology to create visual content that can be digital or in print. The goal of graphic design is to inspire the target audience to take action.

FLYERS & Business Graphics
Where do people use Flyers?
- Social Media Posts
- Distribute paper flyers
- Include with your sales receipt
- As posters at location
- Mailed to subscribers
A flyer, also known as a flier or pamphlet, is a type of paper advertisement that is used to promote a product, service, event, or special offer. Flyers are often distributed in public places, mailed to a targeted audience, or handed out to individuals, and more recently posted on social media. They are designed to be eye-catching and easy to read, and often include graphics and persuasive language to attract attention
Flyers can be an inexpensive and effective marketing tool when used properly and distributed to the right audience. They can help increase a customer base and create awareness for a business or event.
Poster Illustrations
While Poster Art is often used as a visual communication tool, they do not have to be boring. As a matter of fact, that is what makes posters so interesting! As a designer, there is a lot that you can convey through a well-designed poster. Posters can go beyond combining words and images to promote ideas, products, causes, or events. They can be works of art that are coveted yet mass-produced and displayed to catch the public's eye. To succeed, a poster must instantly capture attention and hold it until the message is conveyed.
Posters can feature graphics, text, or a mix of both and are used by advertisers, propagandists, and others to inspire people to take action, like purchasing a product, supporting a cause, or adopting a belief. This can be achieved through striking designs, captivating colors, or compelling images, with no fixed formula for success.

Art & Illustration
Since so much of my profession involves precision and order I have found that Art & Illustration really help maintain a healthy creative discipline in my life. Creating Art for the sake of making something compelling with only self-established rules is really quite liberating, especially for someone like myself who is always creating inside margins and grids. I really love the power that ART graphics can have especially now that we have SO many communication channels. To see something hand drawn and colorful just sparks a different kind of interest, at least for myself. On occasion I like to make graphics for special events (Like surf contests or paddle-outs) but often I really enjoy making art to inform. Protest art or Art for Activism. This is where the really passion is for me, something that can have real impact and move people to action.
T-Shirt Graphics
A graphic t-shirt, also known as a graphic tee, is a t-shirt with a prominent design element on it, such as a logo, image, or wordmark. Graphic tees come in different styles, shapes, and sizes, and can be made from various materials. The most popular printing methods for graphic tees are screen printing and direct-to-garment (DTG) printing, but other methods include dye sublimation, heat transfer vinyl (HTV), plastisol heat transfer, and airbrushing. Cotton is usually the best material for long-lasting and vibrant prints, but polyester can also be a good choice for certain dye sublimation techniques. People wear graphic tees to express themselves and showcase their personality or beliefs. They can add a bit of flair to an otherwise formal outfit, such as a blazer and trousers, or a mini-skirt. For a more everyday look, pair a graphic tee with jeans, or for a smart-casual statement, match it with a fun-colored tailored 2-piece and white sneakers.
